Welcome to the LIS 471 Fall 2013 class blog. We will use the blog for posting assignments and also for sharing news and interesting discoveries so stay tuned. You should all have received emails inviting you to the blog and by now, if you are reading this you are signed in. If you have trouble the folks in the Tech Lab are often able to answer questions about how things work or send me an email and we'll do what we can.

Just wanted to share some news on Lewis Hine: Hulu Movies currently has a 1984 documentary up about him (free) called "America & Lewis Hine." I haven't watched it,tho, so can't speak to the quality. Also, there were some U.S. postage stamps available a few weeks ago (still available?) called "Made in America" that features all Lewis Hine photos of machinists, mill workers, etc.
